Introduction

Agenda

초대형 업무지구인 테크노벨리를 중심으로 개발되어 가장 성공적인 신도시라 평가받는 판교는 빠른 성장 탓에 주거 수에 비해 문화 시설 등에 대한 수요를 충족하지 못했다. 따라서 음식과 문화를 중심으로 지역 공동체를 추구하며, 일상과 지역에 밀착된 생활감으로 확장을 하고자 하는 MUJI를 위치하여 판교가 연결될 것이라 기대한다.

Pangyo, which was developed focused on Techno Valley, a super-large business district, is considered the most successful new city. However it did not meet the demand for cultural facilities compared to the number of apartments due to its rapid growth. Therefore, it is expected that Pangyo will be connected by the location of MUJI, that pursue a local community centered on food and cultural program wanting to expand with a sense of living that closely permeates daily life and the region.

Site

서울의 인구와 산업 분산을 목적으로 개발된 판교는 경부고속도로, 서울-용인고속도로를 통해 서울의 주요 도시들과 좋은 접근성을 지닌다. 수많은 대기업들이 유치된 초대형 업무지구와 함께 그에 따른 주거 역시 갖춘 신도시이다.

Pangyo, which was developed with the aim of dispersing the population and industry of Seoul, has good access to Seoul’s major cities through the Gyeongbu Expressway and the Seoul-Yongin Expressway. It is a new city with housing as well as a large business district that attracts many large companies.

사이트 주변에도 많은 주거 단지들이 유치되어있다. 그러나 그에 따른 마트와 문화 시설의 수는 턱없이 부족하다.

Many residential complexes are also located around the site. However, the resulting number of markets and cultural facilities is extremely short.

Concept

판교는 음식과 문화를 중심으로 지역 공동체를 추구하며, 일상과 지역에 밀착된 생활감으로 확장을 하고자 하는 MUJI에 적합한 위치이다. MUJI를 통해 판교의 주민들이 연결될 것을 기대한다.

It is a suitable location for MUJI, which pursues a local community centered on food and culture and wants to expand into a sense of life close to daily life and region. It is expected that Pangyo’s residents will be connected through MUJI. 

Site Plan

Design

매스 뒤쪽에 아케이드를 위치하여 편안한 보행이 가능하게 하여 건물로 더 쉽게 접근할 수 있도록 하였다. 일부 매스를 제거하고 그를 수직적 동선으로 연결하여 건물 내 사람들 사이의 소통을 활발하게 하였다.

Starting from the original mass , arcade is made at the back of the mass for easier access to the building and more comfortable walk. Some masses was deleted to connect with vertical movement.

Program

플래그쉽 스토어, 문화공간, 오피스 세 가지 프로그램이 오피스 내에 존재한다. 플래그쉽 스토어, 문화공간, 오피스 순으로 덜 개방적이다. 플래그쉽 스토어에서는 자연스럽게 사람들끼리 섞이고, 문화 공간을 통해 사람들끼리 상호작용할 수 있는 기회가 주어진다.

Three kinds of program is in the Office. In order of flagship Store , community Store, Office, it goes public to private. In flagship Store people naturally mix together. By community space gives people chance to be connected together.

선큰 광장과 판교역과의 연결성을 강화하기 위해 건물의 앞뒤로 주출입구를 위치하였고, 건물 지하 1층에 선큰 광장에서 진입 가능한 부출입구를 위치하였다. 저층에서 고층으로 갈수록 폐쇄적인 성격이 강한 프로그램이 배치되어 있다.

In order to strengthen the connection between sunken plaza and Pangyo Station, the main entrance is located in front and back of the building, and a sub entrance is located on the first basement floor of the building. In the Office, The program goes public to private from the bottom to the top . Flagship store , cultural space , offices are placed like the diagram showing.

스탠드, 에스칼레이터, 보이드를 통해 층 간 빠른 이동뿐 아니라 그 사이의 연결을 강화하였다. 1층부터 6층까지 에스칼레이터를 통해 이동이 가능하다. 지하 1층부터 2층까지 계단과 스탠드를 배치하여 시선적으로 소통이 가능하다. 9층부터 11층까지 위치한 자율 좌석 오피스는 하나의 메가 스탠드를 통해 연결되어있다. 11층에 스탠드가 추가로 배치되어 부서들과 자율 좌석 오피스 간의 소통이 가능하게 하였다. 14층부터 16층에 위치한 아트리움를 통해 북쪽에 채광을 확보한다.

The stand, escalator, and void are placed not only for moving quickly between floors but also for strengthening the connection. It is possible to move through the escalator from the 1st to 6th floors. Stairs and stands are arranged from the 1st basement floor to 2nd floor to enable gaze communication. Hot desking is located on the 9th to 11th floors, connected through a single mega stand. An additional stand was arranged on the 11th floor to enable communication between departments and hot desking. The atrium located on the 14th to 16th floors secures lighting in the north.
